1. Who we are
New York - Food Guide - ALK is published by ALKENS DEVELOPMENT, Lindau 8317, Switzerland. For privacy questions, contact alkstodevelopment@gmail.com.
2. Information collected by the app
The food guide itself works with New York food-place data bundled inside the app at build time. It does not require an account and does not ask users to submit personal information.
The free version includes Google AdMob advertising. Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share data such as IP address, advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and related device identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit.
3. Permissions
The app uses Internet/network access for advertising. The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or notification permissions. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may declare access to the Android Advertising ID where available. Android Auto Backup is disabled for this release.
4. Advertising and consent
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. In regions where consent or privacy choices are required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent before ads are requested.
Users can reset or delete the Android Advertising ID in Android settings. AdMob and Google services are governed by Google's privacy policy and advertising policies.
5. Age signals and parental approval
In regions where Google Play provides age-verification signals, the app may request Google Play Age Signals. The app uses these signals only to respond to age-appropriate access requirements, such as showing a parental-approval message if Google Play reports that required supervised approval was denied.
The app does not store age signal values, does not send them to ALKENS DEVELOPMENT servers, and does not use them for ads, analytics, marketing, profiling, or personalization.
6. Maps and external apps
When you tap "Open in Google Maps", the app issues a standard Android geo-intent to open a New York location in whatever map app you have installed. New York - Food Guide - ALK does not receive any data back from that external app. The receiving app's own privacy policy applies.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. The content rating is PEGI 3 / Everyone.
8. Data retention and deletion
New York - Food Guide - ALK does not create user accounts or store user-submitted personal data. Advertising-related data is handled by Google AdMob according to Google's policies and user controls.
9. Changes
We may update this privacy policy when the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
