ReqReporting Paid Beta Privacy Notice
Version: 2026-09-09-PAID-BETA-3 Controller: ALKENS DEVELOPMENT, sole proprietorship, UID CHE-196.798.718, Lindau 8317, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Privacy contact: support@alkensdevelopment.ch
1. Scope and roles
This notice covers ReqReporting checkout, billing, licensing, protected delivery, support, and the local desktop application. The purchasing organisation controls the financial, client, supplier, employee, occupancy, and other workbook content it processes locally and remains responsible for notices, permissions, access, retention, and backups. ALKENS DEVELOPMENT controls the personal data needed to sell, deliver, license, secure, and support ReqReporting.
2. Local workbook processing
The current desktop application reads workbooks selected by the user and does not intentionally transmit workbook content to ALKENS DEVELOPMENT, Stripe, Infomaniak, or another reporting cloud. Local accounts, password hashes and salts, legal-acceptance evidence, imported data, previews, charts, and exports are stored on the Customer's device or in folders selected by the Customer.
If the Customer voluntarily supplies logs, screenshots, exports, or source data for support, it must be authorised to do so and should remove personal, confidential, and secret information that is not necessary.
3. Purchase and licence data
Depending on the transaction, ALKENS DEVELOPMENT may process name, organisation, email, billing address, country, tax identification, Stripe customer/subscription/invoice/transaction identifiers, selected plan, seat limit, amount, currency, tax treatment, renewal/cancellation status, legal-document versions and acceptance timestamp, licence metadata, protected-download token status, IP address, user agent, support correspondence, and incident information.
Stripe processes card and payment information directly. ALKENS DEVELOPMENT does not receive or store full card numbers.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
Data is used to complete the contract, collect payment, issue and renew licences, deliver protected downloads, document legal acceptance, prevent abuse, respond to support and incidents, administer cancellations/refunds, comply with accounting and tax obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. Depending on context and applicable law, processing relies on contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests, or consent where specifically requested.
5. Recipients and locations
Recipients may include authorised ALKENS DEVELOPMENT personnel; Stripe for checkout, billing, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and tax-related checkout data; Infomaniak for hosting, fulfilment, protected downloads, database, and transactional email; and professional advisers or authorities where legally required. ALKENS DEVELOPMENT does not sell purchase or licence-administration data.
Providers may process data in Switzerland, the EEA, the United States, or another country described in their current terms. Where required, ALKENS DEVELOPMENT relies on an adequacy decision, recognised contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Workbook content is not authorised for routine cloud upload by this product.
6. Retention
- Order, invoice, payment, and licence records: for the applicable Swiss accounting/tax retention period.
- Checkout acceptance evidence: for the licence term plus 24 months, or longer while a claim is open.
- Routine download/security logs: target deletion or anonymisation within 90 days.
- Closed support material: target deletion or anonymisation within 12 months.
- Security, privacy, billing, refund, and dispute incidents: up to 5 years after closure where needed for accountability or claims.
- Customer-controlled local data: until the Customer deletes it or removes the application/files.
Longer retention applies where mandatory law, an unresolved dispute, fraud prevention, or an active incident requires it.
7. Security
The service uses Stripe-hosted payment entry, server-side webhook verification, signed licences, protected time/count-limited downloads, access controls, and secret separation. No security measure guarantees that loss or unauthorised access cannot occur. Do not email passwords, card numbers, private keys, full licence keys, or unredacted workbooks.
8. Rights and complaints
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or an available copy of ALKENS DEVELOPMENT-controlled data. Identity may be verified, and statutory accounting records may not be deleted early. Contact support@alkensdevelopment.ch. Requests concerning workbook content should normally be directed first to the purchasing organisation. Swiss individuals may contact the FDPIC; EEA individuals may contact their competent supervisory authority.
9. Incidents and changes
Suspected privacy, licence, billing, or security incidents should be reported promptly to support@alkensdevelopment.ch with only the necessary details. Material notice changes receive a new version and, where required, renewed affirmative acceptance. Ending a subscription does not delete Customer-controlled local files; the Customer remains responsible for their retention or deletion.
