AI Setup Agent Guide

A reusable procedure an AI assistant can follow while helping an authorized administrator install, configure and validate ReqBridge Team—without collecting personal data or secrets.

Safety comes first

  • Work only on devices, folders, networks and accounts explicitly authorized by the administrator.
  • Never request or retain passwords, licence keys, recovery codes, tokens, private keys, payment data or customer records.
  • Use fictional demonstration records and never expose ReqBridge directly to the public internet.
  • Never send email, change billing, restore data, delete records or apply an update without action-time administrator confirmation.

1. Prepare

  1. Confirm Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, a current browser and adequate disk space.
  2. Choose single-computer or local-team setup.
  3. Verify the installer came from the official purchase, account or recovery flow.
  4. Create and verify a backup before upgrading an existing workspace.

2. Install and activate

  1. Start the approved installer and allow only required permissions.
  2. Launch ReqBridge and confirm its local interface responds.
  3. The administrator enters the licence key and creates the first administrator account privately in the application.
  4. Verify sign-in, sign-out and a fresh sign-in.

3. Configure a local team

  1. Select a stable authorized workspace host.
  2. Enable LAN access only when required. ReqBridge normally uses ports 8765 and 8766.
  3. Restrict firewall scope to the application, trusted network and required ports. Never configure public port forwarding.
  4. Connect peers through the administrator-approved workflow and verify synchronization with fictional data.

4. Apply least-privilege roles

Create only authorized individual accounts. Assign Administrator, Business user or Developer access according to job needs. Never share accounts, and let every user choose their password privately.

5. Validate the workspace

Create a fictional pilot Project, Requirement and Ticket. Link the work, enter test budget, cost and effort values, and verify Project roll-ups, variance, utilization, overruns, global search and Open/Edit permissions.

6. Establish recovery

Create a backup in an approved encrypted location. Verify that it is dated and non-empty. Restore only in an isolated test location or after explicit administrator confirmation.

7. Handle updates safely

Back up first, obtain the update through the official flow, confirm validation, read the release notes, request action-time approval, apply the update, and repeat the validation checklist.
